Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress from Manama, Bahrain and was raised in a multi-ethnic home. Her father Elroy is from Sri Lanka (Catholic Sinhalese) and her mother Kim is a Malaysian. Padukone, the daughter of the badminton player Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and raised in Bangalore. While still a teenager, Padukone was a participant in numerous national badminton tournaments. However, she resigned from the sport when she decided to become a fashion model. Padukone is from Mangalorean origin Her mother language is Konkani. Padukone is a village located in Kundapura Taluk of Karnataka's Udupi District. Prakash Padukone was a badminton legend who retired in the 1980s. She has a mother who runs who worked for a travel agency also comes from this area.
